Chelsea are speaking with Juventus regarding a potential swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku heading back to Serie A, and Dusan Vlahovic heading to Stamford Bridge.

But it won’t be a straight swap deal, and according to both Gianluca Di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano last night, Chelsea need to stump up an extra €40 million to go alongside Lukaku if they want to sign Vlahovic.

Di Marzio says that Juventus and Chelsea will soon be in contact over the Dušan Vlahović-Romelu Lukaku exchange. Juve have started with a request for €50 million with the aim of closing at at least €40 million, but Chelsea have started low, and it will take a lot of work among the intermediaries to try to meet each other to try to close.

Whilst Romano says Juventus are waiting for Chelsea to decide if they want to do the Dušan Vlahović-Romelu Lukaku + €40 million swap deal. Juventus feel they can be strong because Lukaku has already said yes to them, but Chelsea must decide.
