Liga MX have confirmed the new schedule for the 2023 Clausura on Wednesday.

Here is a look at how Chivas and Club América fared.

Chivas

Opener: Monterrey v Chivas, 7 January

Clásico Nacional: Guadalajara v América, 18 March

Clásico Tapatío: Atlas v Guadalajara, 1 April

That means back-to-back Clásico’s for Chivas!

Club América

Opener: América v Querétaro, 7 January

Clásico Nacional: Guadalajara v América, 18 March

Clásico Joven: Cruz Azul v América: 15 April

Clásico Capitolino: América v Pumas, 22 April

América will also have back-to-back Clásicos at the end of the season!

Additionally, the season will open with Necaxa v Atlético San Luis on 6 January.

The playoffs will be held throughout May after the season ends on 30 April, with the league final on 25 and 28 May.
