Borussia Dortmund have reportedly agreed personal terms with Kevin Trapp and will now negotiate to sign the goalkeeper from Paris Saint-Germain.
The 27-year-old joined the Ligue 1 giants from Eintract Frankfurt in 2015, but has failed to establish himself as the number one at Parc des Princes, earning himself just three starts for Unai Emery’s side this season.
As such, the Germany international is looking to leave Les Parisiens and according to Tutto Mercato he has agreed in principle to join BVB in the summer.
The only stumbling block now is to actually agree a fee with PSG.
It’s believed that the French side will accept offers of over €15m for Trapp, but it remains to be seen whether Peter Stöger’s side will part with that kind of cash.
Current goalkeeper Roman Bürki has come in for criticism this season, conceding 57 goals in all competitions and making a number of high-profile mistakes.
