Kicker report today that Kevin-Prince Boateng is expected to remain at Hertha Berlin beyond the summer.
The 35-year-old has a contract until the end of the month but is expected to sign a new one-year deal with a final decision to be made in the next few days.
One player that is unlikely to be at Hertha Berlin next season is Ishak Belfodil. The 30-year-old is available to leave the capital club on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the month.
Unlike Boateng, Belfodil isn’t expected to sign an extension. The Algerian forward has interest from the Middle East and the Bundesliga. Belfodil played 26 league games last season, scoring five and creating three.
Belfodil joined Hertha from Hoffenheim last summer for €500k whilst Boateng joined on a free transfer.
Central-defender Omar Alderete (25) is also expected to leave the club after spending last season on loan at Valencia.
