After unimpressive loan spells at Olympiacos and Fiorentina, Kevin Mirallas is set to return to where it all began.
According to Belgian outlet Voetbal 24, the 31-year-old is set to be sold to Standard Liege for a reported £1.3m fee.
The report goes on to state that the deal could be finalised as soon as this week as long as negotiations go smoothly, as is expected.
Though Everton may not be thrilled about offloading the winger for such a low price, Marcel Brands and company will be more than happy to get his reported £75,000 weekly wages off the books.
Mirallas joined Standard Liege at age 12 and spent five years in the youth setup before beginning his professional career at Lille in 2004.
During his seven-year stay with the Toffees, the 60-time Belgian international has featured 186 times, registering 38 goals and 34 assists.
