Kevin De Bruyne’s agent, Patrick De Koster opened up on KDB’s transfer to Manchester City and where the Belgian may finish his career.
The 26-year-old has had a spectacular season that would likely win him PFA Player of the Year most seasons, scoring 12 goals and adding 20 assists in all competitions.
KDB has had the luxury of having a closer relationship with his agent than most people do with their family.
“Every day we hear from each other, I even have a tattoo of him,” De Koster told Belgian radio station MNM while laughing.
De Koster opened up that Manchester City was in a three-way duel with PSG and Bayern Munich for his services and revealed that KDB could end his career in America.
“The first contacts with City were in February, but the transfer was not until August. The clubs always have to find an agreement first. Kevin had a good time in the Bundesliga and saw something in Bayern Munich, but they could not rival the financial strength of PSG and City.
“As a broker, you always try to apply pressure, but I try to respect everyone. We always look for the best solution for the player, financially and sportingly.”
“At the moment, he is very happy at his club. Kevin’s future? I see him ending up in Los Angeles.”
