Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne was less than impressed after being gifted a Manchester United shirt.
De Bruyne made his feelings about City’s rivals clear after being handed the United jersey with his name and number on the back of it.
The 31-year-old who is widely regarded as one of the Premier League’s best players, was on Belgian podcast Mid Mid when he received the shirt.
Per Goal, the host of the podcast joked: “it’s a dream”, which led to a rather brutal response from De Bruyne.
“Do I burn it now?” De Bruyne said. “Most dreams aren’t real.”

Ouch.
As well as playing for Man City since 2015, De Bruyne also grew up supporting Liverpool and was a big fan of Michael Owen.
“I would love to play there one day,” De Bruyne said during his first interview as a child, per Dream Team.
Therefore, we probably shouldn’t be too surprised by his reaction to be gifted a Man Utd shirt.
De Bruyne has been in typically excellent form for Man City so far this season and provided two assists in last weekend’s emphatic 6-3 win over Erik ten Hag’s side.
Erling Haaland and Phil Foden both scored hat-tricks in the rout, although De Bruyne also produced a superb individual performance against the Red Devils.
The Belgian has already registered nine assists in the Premier League so far this term and has also scored one goal.
The world-class midfielder has already struck up an excellent on-field understanding with Haaland, who sits top of the Premier League top scorer charts with 15 goals to his name already.
However, City boss Pep Guardiola is demanding more from his star midfielder following Saturday’s 4-0 win over Southampton.
"For Kevin - especially Kevin - to have this threat, pace and movement in behind helps a lot," Guardiola was quoted saying by City’s official website.
"He made plenty of assists but he could play better today - this was not the best Kevin we know. He was not in the position we should find him but Kevin has Julian [Alvarez], Phil and these players who make movements in behind."
Guardiola demanding more from De Bruyne? That surely won’t happen too many times this season.
