Ahead of tonight’s game between Milan and Bologna, which is the Rossoneri’s first league game of the season, Franck Kessie spoke to both Sky Italia and MilanTV about the clash. Of course, a win would be ideal.

The Ivorian will start in the midfield alongside his usual partner Ismael Bennacer, meaning Sandro Tonali will be on the bench as expected. Hopefully, Stefano Pioli’s will be able to put in a good performance. Down below are Kessie’s comments.

“I’m fine and the team too. The way we have worked, we are ready to make a good start in the league.

“Tonali? Sandro is a great player, he has entered the group very well. He shows us his qualities in training, he is ready to give his best in this league.

“We have to work at our best. The Champions League is undoubtedly our goal. Today is the first match of the league and we must be ready,” he stated.
