Kepa injury update provided after Real Madrid’s win over Braga | OneFootball

An update on the prognosis of Kepa’s injury has been provided following Real Madrid’s comfortable 3-0 Champions League win against Braga. Los Blancos have lost their first-choice goalkeeper for the next few weeks due to a leg injury.

According to Relevo, the small tear will keep the Spaniard out for two to three weeks, although the scheduled MRI scan will give a more accurate timeframe. Kepa left the warm-up minutes before the start of the match against Braga due to discomfort.

Lunin replaced the keeper having just 15 minutes to warm up, but went on to have an excellent game. The backup keeper made a brilliant penalty save and is expected to start in the upcoming games against Valencia and Cádiz.
