Keown said: "Breath of fresh air, when he came on, running with the ball. It was a difficult afternoon for Leeds really, Wolves just sat back, didn't really quite have the quality, and he completely changed the game.

"I think sometimes that young players can do this, in their performance - look at this when he comes on, it's a great save from the 'keeper Sa but a wonderful hit from the young man. His movement, I felt maybe here again, he could perhaps have just have knocked this inside for (Daniel) James, perhaps for a tap-in, but that will come, I'm sure, that kind of vision.

"It was his willingness to run at the opponents, absolutely first class. Look at this, does this remind you of Messi? It's early days but that's what he'll be thinking about. He's watched these players and he's done it in the playground, and now he's doing it at Elland Road.

"He could have almost won it for them at the end, again, that exuberance of youth, he thinks 'why not?', he hits it and it hits his colleague (Crysencio) Summerville, who also came off the bench and did well. A really good afternoon for Leeds' youngsters."
