Liverpool entertained Atalanta at Anfield earlier tonight as they looked to secure a good result at home in the UEFA Europa League. The Reds made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 38th minute when Gianluca Scamacca found the back of the net. Jurgen Klopp‘s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Scamacca scored again for the visitors in the 60th minute before Mario Pasalic put daylight between the two teams when he scored in the 83rd minute. The Merseyside club ended up crashing to a disappointing 3-0 loss in front of their home fans.
