Keita Balde tipped Inter to have a great season under Antonio Conte after failing to earn a permanent move to the club this summer.
The forward signed on loan from Monaco twelve months ago but scored just five goals for the Nerazzurri.
Inter opted not to exercise their €30 million option to buy for the Senegalese international, who visited the club’s offices in Milan this morning.
Keita told Tuttomercatoweb: “I said goodbye to a few friends. They’re looking good for this year and I wish them the best.
“I was very happy here at Inter and tonight I will be at the stadium [to watch them play Lecce]. I think the team looks great ahead of the new season.
Keita played 34 minutes for Monaco last weekend as Leonardo Jardim’s side lost 3-0 away to Metz.
Asked if he had regrets about his one season in Milan, Keita added: “I did what I could, although you can always do more. I’m happy with what I gave, though.
“At the moment I play for Monaco, but we’ll see what happens now.”
