Germany will face off against England at Wembley Stadium on Monday night as they focus on collecting all three points on the road. The German outfit suffered a poor 1-0 loss at home to Hungary recently, so they will be eager to put on a good showing in the UEFA Nations League next week.

Hansi Flick will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and could be forced to make one change to his starting XI for this game. Antonio Rudiger is suspended for this game. Hence, West Ham United’s Thilo Kehrer is likely to get a start in this clash versus the Three Lions.

4-2-3-1 Germany Predicted Lineup To Face England

Defence

Manuel Neuer will operate in between the sticks for Germany after shipping in one goal in his last outing. Thilo Kehrer might get a chance to play alongside Niklas Sule in the absence of Antonio Rudiger, who is suspended for this game. Both German centre-backs need to be at their best if they want to stop the English attackers from scoring this Monday night.

Jonas Hofmann will fill in at right-back while David Raum hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will be given the license to get forward and create some decent chances in the final third.

Armel Bella-Kotchap and Matthias Ginter will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they offer cover for the centre-back positions.

Thomas Muller

Midfield

Ilkay Gundogan and Joshua Kimmich will act as the holding midfielders as they try to dominate the opposition at the centre of the park and engineer some clear-cut chances in the opponent’s half.

The gifted trio of Leroy Sane, Thomas Muller and Serge Gnabry will function just ahead of them as part of Flick’s attack. Sane will try to put his pace to good use on the left wing after failing to register a goal versus Hungary.

Kai Havertz will be named on the bench but could come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Timo Werner will spearhead Flick’s attack on his own up top. He will have to carry most of the goal-scoring workload for Germany up top.

Lukas Nmecha and Jamal Musiala will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they await their opportunity to shine in the latter stages of the game if Flick decides to call upon his services.
