Leeds United will be keen to return to winning ways this weekend as they welcome Cheadle Town to the Bannister Prentice Stadium.
The Whites know that a victory over the Stingers will cut the gap between the sides to just one point, with United also having a game in hand on the Cheshire outfit.
Ahead of the match, midfielder Kath Smith is confident her teammates can recapture their best form as the battle for promotion heats up.
“We are not in a place where we are down in the dumps and are thinking about the two losses on the bounce,” she said.
“I think we are really positive in camp and looking forward to actually getting some consistency back because we were meant to have four games in January but ended up having one.
“I think it will be a tough test against Cheadle because obviously they have shown that they are consistent in what they do.
“I think where our confidence comes from is we are the only team to have scored three goals against them, but we are concentrating on us, not them, because we are the ones that can have the most impact.
“So, I think we take the positives from the last meeting, and I think actually we probably could have scored a couple more goals in that game, and then welcome them to Garforth and obviously put our all into that.
“It will be really nice to get back out on home ground and in front of our fans with people that really support us because it does give you that extra little bit of motivation.
“We have also had a lot of players return from injury so the strength and depth is the best we have had for a while.
“It creates competition for places which makes everyone perform better. We have also had Ria Montgomery join as well, she has done really well so far and is great for the squad.”
