Karim Benzema appears to have suffered an injury in Al-Ittihad’s Saudi Pro League showdown with Al-Khaleej Thursday evening.
The former Real Madrid star was on the scoresheet for his side, firing home from the penalty spot just before the half-hour mark, but his night would come to a screeching halt just 10 minutes later.

Benzema appeared to be clutching his back when gingerly walking off the pitch after being substituted in the 39th minute.
To make matters worse, Al-Ittihad are only 12 days out from the start of their Club World Cup campaign!
