Kane is out of contract in 2024 and he is yet to commit his future to Spurs beyond the end of next season.

The forward scored 30 Premier League goals for Tottenham last season who would have likely ended up in the bottom-half had it not been for the striker’s sensational form.

He is unsurprisingly attracting interest from several clubs around Europe ahead of next season. At the start of this summer, Man Utd earmarked him as their top striker target, with Erik ten Hag being a huge admirer of the Englishman.

But the Premier League giants are unwilling to become embroiled in a transfer saga with Spurs. And considering that Daniel Levy is regarded as a difficult individual to negotiate with, United are looking at alternative targets and they intend to step up their interest in Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund.

This has left Bayern Munich and PSG as viable alternative options for Kane, but The Telegraph are reporting that he ‘has no interest in joining’ the French champions this summer.

This is said to ‘leave Tottenham facing a straight fight with Bayern Munich to keep hold of the striker’. The report adds.

‘PSG have been heavily linked with Kane in recent days, but Telegraph Sport understands the England captain would turn down an approach from the French club.’

‘While Spurs fans will be pleased to hear that Kane does not want to move to France in this transfer window, it decreases the chance of his price getting significantly pushed up through a bidding war. ‘Bayern have had two bids for Kane rejected this summer, with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy still wanting more than £100 million for the 29-year-old, despite the fact he only has one year remaining on his contract. ‘With Manchester United also seemingly out of the race this summer, it now appears that Kane’s two options are to stay at Spurs or move to Bayern if the German club can agree a fee with Levy.’

Hoeness claimed that “Kane signalled very clearly that his decision was made and if it stays that way, we’ll get him”. And they are worried that these claims will ‘rile Levy up’.

Regarding interest from Man Utd and Chelsea, the report added: ‘Both Manchester United and Chelsea will be waiting if Kane runs down his contract while Paris St Germain are in the background now.’
