England ran out comfortable 4-0 winners over Hungary in their World Cup qualifier in Budapest on Thursday.
Gareth Southgate's side now have four wins from four qualifying games to open up a five-point lead over Poland in Group I.
In a match which saw the home fans boo England's players taking a knee and dish out racist chants, it was the Three Lions who did the talking on the field.
After a goalless first-half, Raheem Sterling finished off a slick move to break the deadlock for the visitors on the 55th minute mark.
The Manchester City winger then turned provider eight minutes later as his deflected cross sat up perfectly for captain Harry Kane to head home.
Harry Maguire made it 3-0 by heading home Luke Shaw's corner, then Declan Rice capped off the win thanks to a poor effort from Hungary keeper Peter Gulacsi.
England will play Andorra at Wembley on Sunday before taking on Poland in Warsaw on Wednesday.
Speaking after the game, Kane said his team could not have got a better result in Hungary.
He said: "A fantastic result. This is a really tough place to come and we knew it would be a difficult game. Such a big game as well. We knew getting a result here would put us in a good position and one foot in the World Cup. Couldn't be better... 4-0 and a great night for us.
"We said to just keep moving the ball quick and get the ball out wide would be key. Opening the gaps and exploiting it. They got tired in the second half and we were able to capitalise by taking our chances when we needed to.
"Two more big games now. At home to Andorra, when we will be favourites. And then Poland away which will be like tonight. They have dropped some more points but if we can come away with two more wins we are pretty much there for qualification."
