Arnaud Kalimuendo was one of the heroes of Lens' derby win over Lille last weekend, but despite reaching double figures for goals for the first time, the 20-year-old wasn't getting carried away with the celebrations. "I'm not happy with my performance, not at all," the youngster told the Ligue 1 Show on beIN SPORTS. "I have to work hard and improve."

That Kalimuendo was still thinking about the chances he missed against Lille, rather than the one he put away, speaks volumes for the attacker's mentality. Ruthless
But the ruthless streak he is so keenly seeking was on show the previous weekend, as Lens found themselves down to ten men against Nice… Indeed, Kalimuendo's incredible efficiency that day helped clinched a vital win.
RC LENS - OGC NICE (3-0) / Highlights (RCL - OGCN) 2021/2022
"Nice had an extra man, so they came out, tried to score and they left spaces. It's not their natural game," explained coach Franck Haise. "We knew we could hurt them if we took our chances." Something to prove
Enjoying his second consecutive season on loan at Lens, Kalimuendo has got Les Sang et Or dreaming of Europe once again, inspiring the two recent victories with his three goals. On Saturday, the youngster will be looking to show his parent club that he can have a future at PSG… he learned his trade in the capital, but has so far made just three fleeting appearances for the capital club. The home players will be fully aware of Kalimuendo's talents and brilliant form.
RC LENS - PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN (1-1) / Highlights (RCL - PSG) 2021/2022
He was well muzzled by Presnel Kimpembe in the 1-1 draw earlier this season… but the France youth international will be especially determined to prove a point at the Parc des Princes this weekend.
