Celtic face Kairat Almaty in their Champions League qualifier second leg, at the Ortalyq Stadium on Tuesday after a goalless draw in the first meeting.
That draw in Glasgow has left Celtic in a precarious position, and Brendan Rodgers will be desperate for his side to avoid becoming the first Scottish team to lose in Kazakhstan.
Barring the long-term absences of Elder Santana and Joao Paulo, who remain out with cruciate ligament injuries, the hosts head into Tuesday’s clash with nearly a full squad available.
The only fresh concern is goalkeeper Aleksandr Zarutskiy, who picked up a knock and had to come off in Glasgow. If he is unable to feature, Temirlan Anarbekov is expected to step in as the starting goalkeeper.
Celtic’s injury troubles continue to pile up, with Alistair Johnston ruled out until November after sustaining a hamstring injury.
Their attacking options have also taken a hit as Adam Idah misses out due to a knock, while defender Auston Trusty is sidelined with a foot problem. Jota remains unavailable as he continues his recovery from a long-term cruciate ligament injury.
On the brighter side, Benjamin Nygren will head into this clash in good spirits after scoring twice against Livingston at the weekend, and he’s likely to retain his spot out wide.
Kairat Predicted XI: Anarbekov; Tapalov, Sorokin, Martynovich, Luis Mata; Glazer, Gromyko, Arad; Satpaev, Edmilson Santos, Jorginho
Celtic Predicted XI: Schmeichel; Ralston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Tierney; Engels, McGregor, Hatate; Nygren, Yamada, Maeda
