Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller insists that Chelsea are yet to reach an agreement to sign midfielder Kai Havertz.
Havertz has attracted interest from top European clubs following his impressive 2019/20 campaign, where he scored 18 goals in 40 appearances.
But despite reports emerging that Chelsea were willing to meet his €80m valuation, Voller claims the 21-year-old will only leave on their terms.
“No decision has been made yet,” he told Kicker. “I’d like to repeat myself by emphasising that we’re talking about a wonderful footballer.
“We have a clear and mutual agreement with him and his representatives that he can only leave under certain conditions.
“There is nothing new in this regard. Otherwise he will stay.”
Real Madrid and Bayern Munich also expressed an interest in Havertz, but neither side could justify significant financial outlay in the COVID-19 affected economy.
