Whatâs that old saying about goals and London buses?
Kai Havertz has struggled to make his mark since his âŹ55m move to Arsenal from Chelsea in the summer but it looks like the corner is about to be turned.
The German international scored his first goal from open play for the Gunners to earn a crucial 1-0 win over Brentford on Saturday evening and heâs only gone and done it again tonight.
Thirteen minutes into Arsenalâs Champions League clash with RC Lens, Havertz popped up in the box to force home from Gabriel Jesusâ knock-down.
Sixteen games without an open play goal and now the 23-year-old has two in 14 minutes, albeit over two games.
That goal will also go down in club history as he becomes the 100th different player to score a competitive goal at the Emirates.
