Following an incredible UEFA Women’s Champions League campaign last season, in which the Bianconere made it through to the quarter-finals, it has now been revealed who Juventus’ next opponents will be for the 2022/23 season.

Just like last season, Joe Montemurro and his charges will take part in the Champions Path. This time, Juventus Women will come up against Racing FC Union in semi-final one, while Flora Tallin and FC Qiryat Gat will play against each other in semi-final two at a neutral venue. The winners of the respective semi-finals will meet in the final, with the winners set to progress to Round 2.

The matches are set to take place 18 August (semi-finals) and 21 August (Finals/third place play-offs). Should the Bianconere progress, Round 2 will take place on 20/21 and 28/29 September, while the group stages are set to kick-off 19 October. The final will take place on 3/4 June at PSV Stadion in Eindhoven.

Present at the draw was Juventus Women’s Teams Director, Stefano Braghin: "It will be a difficult season, perhaps the most difficult of all. The bar will be as high as ever in the past, but we raised it. We have come from an amazing year but we must not think that we are "from the quarter-finals": being a top-eight side in Europe is something that can be said only when one has reached that objective at least three times, otherwise it is a once-off and we know repeating it will be very complicated. For this reason, we are aware of starting from the preliminaries because our ranking, at the moment, places us there.

"Each game must be played with the right awareness, knowing that these are once-off matches where we will immediately need to show our potential. Not only that: all our opponents are worthy of respect because if they are there it means that they have won their championships, they will be more prepared than us, because with the Euros and international commitments we are starting later.

"The opponents are strengthening a lot, and we will no longer have the surprise effect of last year, which started with a change in the technical leadership. It will be truly balanced and complicated Serie A. For our part, we made the transfer market moves that we deemed necessary, working above all to reinforce the attack and midfield with flexible and experienced players. From tomorrow, we will think about consolidating the group we have, with one goal in mind: the team we will see in May will have to be stronger than the one that will meet again in a few weeks."
