This week the European Women's championships get underway.

EURO 2022 kicks off on Wednesday 6 July and 16 Juventus Women players have been called up to represent their respective countries at the tournament being held in England.

Below is the complete list of the Bianconere on international duty:

- Lisa Boattin, Barbara Bonansea, Agnese Bonfantini, Arianna Caruso, Valentina Cernoia, Sara Gama, Cristiana Girelli, Martina Lenzini and Martina Rosucci with Italy.

- Pauline Peyraud-Magnin with France.

- Sara Björk Gunnarsdóttir with Iceland.

- Lineth Beerensteyn with Netherlands.

- Lina Hurtig, Amanda Nilden and Linda Sembrant with Sweden.

- Sofie Junge Pedersen with Denmark.

EURO 2022

It is the thirteenth edition of the most important European competition for women's national teams. This year England plays host to the Euros from this Wednesday, 6 July, all the way through to the end of the month, July 31. The 16 participating teams are divided into four groups of four, from which the top two sides will qualify for the quarter-finals.

Starting with Italy, coach Milena Bertolini has called up nine Bianconere: Boattin, Bonansea, Bonfantini, Caruso, Cernoia, Gama, Girelli, Lenzini and Rosucci. The Azzurre make their Group D debut against France and teammate Peyraud-Magnin on Sunday 10 July at 21h00 CEST. Italy then take on Iceland and new Juventus Women signing Sara Björk Gunnarsdóttir on Thursday 14 July at 18h00 CEST, before completing the group stage against Belgium on Monday 18 at 21h00 CEST.

In the same group, Iceland play their first match against Belgium on Sunday 10 at 18h00 CEST followed by Italy on July 14 and France on Monday 18 at 21h00 CEST. The quarter-finals involving teams from Group D are scheduled for Friday 22 and Saturday 23, based on the final position in the standings.

The Bianconere clash also in Group C. Beerensteyn's Netherlands kick off their EURO 2022 on Saturday 9 at 21h00 CEST against a Sweden side that includes Hurtig, Nilden and Sembrant. Portugal then Switzerland are the other two opponents that await the Dutch. First Portugal on Wednesday 13 at 21h00 CEST followed by the Swiss on Sunday 17 at 18h00 CEST. On the contrary, Sweden first face Switzerland on 13 July at 18h00 CEST and then Portugal on Sunday 17 at 18h00 CEST.

The last national team that involves the Bianconere is Pedersen's Denmark, who were included in group B with Germany, Finland and Spain. The Danes debut against the Germans on Thursday 8 at 21h00 CEST. The Scandinavians then meet Finland on Tuesday 12 at 18h00 CEST before closing out their group against Spain on Saturday 16 at 21h00 CEST.
