Juventus winger Marley Aké (22) is on the verge of a loan move to Ligue 2 side Dijon, according to a report from Foot Mercato. The Frenchman has not played a single game with the Bianconeri senior squad this season. A former Marseille youth product, the Béziers-born player crossed the Alps after promising outings with the then-André Villas-Boas-led side. He put pen to paper two years ago for a four-year deal with Juventus over an €8m signing fee. The transfer is currently under investigation by Italian authorities because it may prove fraudulent regarding Juventus’ involvement in the capital gains scandal.
With Juventus hit by a 15-point deduction and on course to miss European qualification, Aké was reportedly looking for a way out of Turin. This season, he was hampered by a fibula injury. He played four games with Juventus’ reserves squad in Serie C and failed to find the back of the net. To kickstart his once-promising career, Aké is reportedly on the verge of a loan move with struggling Ligue 2 side Dijon. The Bourgogne outfit is seventeenth-placed and lost against relegation-battlers Laval this Tuesday night.
