Juventus warms to latest Chelsea proposal for De Ligt
Tribal Football
Juventus are warming to Chelsea's latest offer for defender Matthijs de Ligt.
There is an acceptance at Juve's end that De Ligt wants to join Chelsea this summer.
The Daily Mail says Chelsea are trying to find a breakthrough by offering Christian Pulisic in exchange for De Ligt. Talks are said to have resumed between the two clubs over the potential swap deal.
Though striker Timo Werner has also been discussed as a possible option, it is Pulisic who Juve would prefer to bring in.
It is stated that they would prioritise a deal for the USA international, despite his struggles with Chelsea since joining from Borussia Dortmund.
De Ligt's contract carries a €120m buyout clause, though Chelsea hope to do business at a value of €80m - including Pulisic.
