Juventus had been openly hunting for a midfielder and according to Goal.com, they were recently offered one on international repute.
And apparently, they don’t want him.
Goal.com suggest that Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini showed interest in moving to the Italian champions.
The Belgian, who has had an up-and-down career at Old Trafford, is out of contract in the summer.
He is believed to be locked in negotiations with United but he reportedly rebuffed their offer for a new deal.
Fellaini may seek a new challenge and Juventus would be an understandably desirable destination.
But Juve are said to have told the player’s agent that they are not interested in signing him.
Younger, more dynamic players like Liverpool’s Emre Çan and Schalke’s Leon Goretzka have been rumoured alternatives.
