With Paul Pogba out injured, Leandro Paredes could make his Champions League debut for Juventus on Tuesday night.

On the opening matchday of the Champions League 2022/23 season, Paris Saint-Germain host Juventus in a mouthwatering contest. Having switched sides in the transfer window, Paredes could make the visitors’ midfield along with another former PSG star in Adrien Rabiot.

Sky Italia, Massimiliano Allegri’s side will be without the services of Angel Di Maria. The Argentinian winger is carrying a muscular problem and will not be risked for the game against the Ligue 1 champions.

Juventus will reportedly play with a two-man frontline, with the duo of Dusan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik understood to be favourites to lead the attack for the Bianconeri.

The midfield should consist of Rabiot, Paredes, and Fabio Miretti. Juan Cuadrado and Filip Kostić could be deployed as the full-backs in front of a three-man defence including Gleison Bremer, Leonardo Bonucci, and Danilo. In the absence of Wojciech Szczęsny, Mattia Perin should get the nod.
