A fresh insight into the transfer plans of the powers that be at Juventus has been provided on Tuesday, when it comes to their interest in Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho.
The info comes by way of Daniele Longo of Calciomercato, who has confirmed that the Bianconeri intend to dip into the market for reinforcements out wide this January.
Despite having enjoyed a solid campaign to date, Juve have long struggled for decisiveness in the final third.
The plan, in turn, is to bring in a winger capable of producing both goals and assists with immediate effect over the 2nd half of the term.
On top of the Old Lady’s shortlist is Sassuolo captain Domenico Berardi, whom Cristiano Giuntoli and co. also expressed a keen interest in during the summer.
Next up is Jadon Sancho, expected to depart Manchester United on loan this winter. It has been previously reported that contact has been made between the parties and with passing time, there is a possibility that United could open up to a loan exit for the Englishman.
Berardi’s proven Serie A track record has handed the Italian international the edge, with Sancho’s wage packet also a potential roadblock in any deal.
Shakhtar Donetsk talent Georgiy Sudakov is another option, albeit with Juve’s interest in the 21-year-old having waned as priority shifts towards an attacker ready to contribute from the off.
