"The important thing is the three points. We're back to winning ways, which we need every week at Juventus. There are many games to play, we must focus on the next match and the points that are up for grabs," Morata told Sky Italia.

“Everyone who knows football realises a victory brings confidence, enthusiasm and a great atmosphere in the locker room. That's important. We are working to win here."

He continued: “I did miss scoring goals, but above all I missed feeling strength, as for the last three weeks to be honest I've not felt good at all. I had to put myself at the disposal of the team because we have so few options available right now.

“It's not an easy season, we are playing every three days and there are big players out for a long period of time. Those aren't excuses, they are the reality.

“We are working to win, if we don't win this season, then we'll congratulate the winners, but until there's a mathematical chance, we'll give our all on the pitch."
