Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic took to social media to say goodbye to his friend and former teammate Federico Chiesa.

The Italian winger has completed a permanent transfer to Anfield from Juventus, leaving Turin after four seasons.

He spent the last one-and-a-half year with Vlahovic at the Allianz Stadium, and the Serbia international sent a heartfelt message to his ex-teammate on Instagram.

“Over these years, you were much more than a teammate,” he wrote in an Instagram story on Thursday.

“We shared so many things inside and outside the dressing room. You are a special friend and person, and I wish you the best. Good luck, Fenix.”

Chiesa scored 32 goals in 131 appearances at Juventus. He has signed a four-year contract with Liverpool.

An Italy international, Chiesa’s contract with Juventus was due to expire in June 2025. This summer, he worked separately from the rest of the team as he was not part of Thiago Motta’s plans.

Chiesa has scored seven goals in 51 Italy appearances winning EURO 2024 with the Azzurri.
