Juventus have registered their interest in Manchester City and Norway winger Oscar Bobb as the summer transfer window progresses, as per a new report.

Bobb is one of the most highly-rated academy graduates to have emerged at the Etihad Stadium, bursting onto the scene with a crucial injury-time winner to complete a stunning 3-2 comeback win against Newcastle in the Premier League in December 2023.

The 21-year-old spent nearly the entirety of the recent season on the sidelines owing to a series of injuries, with a leg break in August 2024 ruling out Bobb till the spring of 2025 as Pep Guardiola dealt with the most challenging year of his managerial career.

A Bobb-less Manchester City for the large part succumbed to a meagre third-place Premier League finish with 71 points, crashed out of the UEFA Champions League at the Round of 16 stage and lost the FA Cup final to Crystal Palace.

City have signed eight players since January to strengthen their prospects for next season, with newly-appointed director of football Hugo Viana laying down an early marker since replacing Txiki Begiristain.

Manchester City have added firepower to their midfield early on in the window, signing Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders, alongside left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri and goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli.

Jack Grealish is expected to leave the club on loan or a permanent basis after struggling for game time in his fourth season at the Etihad Stadium, which have endangered his prospects of a call-up to England’s 2026 FIFA World Cup squad under Three Lions boss Thomas Tuchel.

Outgoings are expected to dominate the headlines for City in the near future as the Blues look to trim their squad as well as wage bill, with Kalvin Phillips and Kyle Walker also expected to find new clubs after being excluded from Guardiola’s FIFA Club World Cup squad.

Tuttosport are reporting that Juventus have registered their interest in Oscar Bobb, who is yearning to prove himself to Guardiola after a season marred by recurring injuries that have derailed the Norwegian’s progress.

Bobb made his long-awaited return to Premier League football in April and has looked the part at the Club World Cup in the United States, as it remains to be seen where the Manchester City graduate ranks in Guardiola’s pecking order come the start of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign.

Omar Marmoush, Savinho and the in-form Jeremy Doku will provide tough competition for Bobb in the wide attacking positions, with the onus now on the winger to walk the walk and remind Guardiola of the very reasons he was first brought into the first-team from the youth sides.

With four years remaining on his current deal, a move away from City remains highly unlikely for the Oslo-born attacker, who has been patient in his recovery from injuries in the last nine months and now has the chance to stake his claim as a regular starter under Guardiola.
