Reports in Italy claim Juventus are ready to send a €45m offer to sign Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta, while the Dutch midfielder is pushing to move to Turin.
Juventus are determined to send an opening offer for Atalanta midfielder Koopmeiners in the coming hours.
Soulé’s imminent move to Roma for €30m and Dean Huijsen’s transfer to Bournemouth for €18m will help Juventus raise money for a fresh offer. However, this may not be enough.
La Gazzetta dello Sport and Il Corriere dello Sport claim that the Bianconeri are ready to make a €45m bid to sign the Dutchman, but it remains to be seen if Atalanta will be willing to lower their asking price given that they value their midfield star at €60m.
Both newspapers claim that Koopmeiners will help the Serie A giants in their efforts, by pushing Atalanta to accept the offer or at least negotiate with the Bianconeri.
The Dutch star had said in March that he wanted to leave Bergamo this summer, but Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi warned the Bianconeri and any other interested club last week that Atalanta never considered selling Koopmeiners.
The 26-year-old already has a principle of agreement with Juventus over a €4.5m-a-year contract until June 2029.
