Juventus push to sign Strasbourg’s Diego Moreira | OneFootball

Juventus are interested in RC Strasbourg Alsace’s versatile Belgian, Diego Moreira (20), according to a report from Sacha Tavolieri.

Moreira has had a breakthrough season at Strasbourg, playing across the pitch, including at left-back and across the forward line. His versatility has been an asset for Liam Rosenior, who guided RCSA into next season’s UEFA Europa Conference League. However, Moreira, who has just received a call-up to the Belgium national team for the first time, is not guaranteed to participate in that European campaign with Strasbourg.

Whilst the Belgian is happy at Strasbourg, and is not looking to force a departure, Juventus are pushing hard to acquire his signature, as per Tavolieri. The Italian side are offering to double Moreira’s current salary, which, naturally, would be tempting for the 20-year-old, whilst the uncertain futures of his friends at the club, Dilane Bakwa and Emanuel Emegha, could also influence any potential decision.

Should Juventus make their attempts to sign the player concrete, Tavolieri understands that a bid of around €20m may suffice to convince Strasbourg and their owners, BlueCo, to part ways.
