Juventus are preparing for a new era under the ownership of John Elkann, leader of the Agnelli family.

Following the resignation of the club’s entire board of directors, including Juventus president Andrea Agnelli and vice-president Pavel Nedved, the club has to implement some changes.

The Serie A club faces allegations of false accounting and market manipulation. They received a 15-point deduction that dropped Massimiliano Allegri’s men further down the league table.

Juventus will likely miss out on Champions League revenue next season, and they have already exited the competition this term.

The Turin club has record losses on the books, and the club will have to change operations to balance itself.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve will let go of Adrien Rabiot, Alex Sandro, Juan Cuadrado, and Leandro Paredes in the summer, saving around €70 million in wages.

Each player has a contract expiring this June, but Elkann will not renew them. The only player deals the club want to renew are Carlo Pinsoglio & Arkadiusz Milik.

Milik arrived from Marseille this season under much criticism due to his former allegiance to Napoli.

However, he has been one of the bright sparks of a very dark season for Juventus. He has scored six goals and assisted one in Serie A.

Juventus will now focus on bringing their youth players into the first team. They want to promote youth stars such as Samuel Iling-Junior, Nicolo Fagioli, Fabio Miretti, and Matias Soule.

The players that leave for free might feel disappointed to go, but they will likely land favourable spots.

Adrien Rabiot was a target for Manchester United last summer and nearly joined the Premier League club.

He will have his pick of suitors this summer after an impressive campaign, arguably his best since moving to Italy.

Sandro has declined rapidly but may still find a job in Europe, or a return to his native Brazil could be on the cards. Cuadrado could join a lower-level Serie A team.

World Cup winners Di Maria and Paredes will also have some exciting offers to choose from.
