Having turned down Aston Villa, Juventus are now hoping that Weston McKennie will accept a possible move to Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce.
According to Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, the situation is still in the very early stages, especially as the midfielder has refused to consider his future until after the USMNT has finished its Copa America experience.
Mourinho would like to bring McKennie to Turkey and Juventus have been clear that his time in Turin is over under new coach Thiago Motta.
The former Leeds United man will be a free agent in June 2025 and so Juve are desperate to get him off their books for €15m plus bonuses.
He was originally in the exchange deal with Aston Villa for Douglas Luiz, but held it all up with his refusal to agree personal terms with the Premier League side.
Instead, the Bianconeri added Enzo Barrenechea to the package with Samuel Iling-Junior and cash.
