Serie A giants Juventus are making progress in their move to hand Federico Chiesa a new deal at the club.
Chiesa, after an injury lay off, has impressed for the Bianconeri this season and he has been one of the most vital players in the campaign for the Bianconeri.
Fabiana della Valle has reported that Chiesa’s agent Fali Ramadani has informed Juve that his client will not leave the club on a free transfer, with his current deal expiring in the summer of 2025. The relations between the two parties are said to be excellent and progress is being made in a new deal.
There is a common desire to extend the deal from all parties and Juve’s idea to make sure that Chiesa signs a one-year deal, so that they save up on finances through ammortisation and make sure they don’t lose him on a free transfer.
Juve also understand that if Chiesa keeps playing the way he is, there will be a rising possibility of clubs coming in for him. As of now, the Italian isn’t considering leaving at all and contacts between both parties are said to be rather constant, with a formal meeting having taken place earlier.
