Serie A giants Juventus are now nearing a move to Lens defender Kevin Danso.
The Bianconeri have failed in moves for Newcastle United’s Lloyd Kelly and West Ham’s Jean-Clair Todibo. Danso now seems to be their preferred choice.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that they are getting close to signing the Austrian, who was close to joining Roma in the summer before a failed medical.
Lens are open to letting the centre-back leave as he has not been called up to the squad in the last two games. Juve have put forward a fee of €2.5 million plus €1.5 million in bonuses as part of a dry loan deal. Lens are happy to accept it but are waiting for a formal acceptance.
Rennes are also in the race but Juve are leading the chase, with Lens having identified Lilian Brassier as the replacement and he would arrive on a loan deal.
