Juventus have lodged yet another appeal relating to the Calciopoli scandal that rocked Italian football during the mid-2000s according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
The Bianconeri club were one of the clubs at the centre of the scandal which saw them stripped of a number of titles and relegated to Serie B.
As recently as January of this year, they launched another appeal against the FIGC’s decision to award Inter with the 2005/06 Serie A title but their appeal was thrown out just months later in May.
They have now presented another appeal to the CONI College of Guarantee and it remains to be seen whether they will be successful in having the verdict overturned.
Inter had originally finished third in the 2005/06 season but due to Juventus and city rivals AC Milan’s involvement, they then found themselves top and thus the title was taken away from Juventus and re-awarded to them.
