Legendary former Juventus midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi feels that Paulo Dybala could make a better impact at Napoli than he could at Inter.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, the former midfielder also cautioned that the success of signing Dybala for any club would be dependent on the Argentine’s fitness.

Dybala will leave Juventus at the end of the current season, but it remains to be seen where his destination will be with a number of clubs interested in signing him on a free transfer.

Inter are the Italian club with the keenest interest in the 28-year-old’s signature by far, though this would not necessarily rule out a surprise switch to another team at the top end of the Serie A table.

Tacchinardi feels that a move to the Partenopei would be fitting for Dybala and that he would be likelier to thrive there than he would at the Nerazzurri.

“Surely in Naples he would evoke that fantastic left-footer,” he said referencing Napoli legend Diego Maradona, “so moreso than at Inter, I would see him being magical under the shadow of Vesuvius.”

“However, there’s a serious problem to keep in mind,” he continued, “I’d want to see the Paulo who plays sixty matches a year and not the one who plays about fifteen between one injury problem and another.”
