Juventus have been monitoring the negotiations between Bologna and Arsenal for Riccardo Calafiori and are yet to back out of the race to sign the centre-back this summer.
Calafiori has agreed personal terms on a contract with Arsenal and has assured Mikel Arteta that he only wants to join the Gunners.
However, negotiations between Arsenal and Bologna have been tough and there is still no agreement between the two clubs.
The Serie A outfit want a fixed fee of €50m and another €3m in add-ons but Arsenal have only offered a fee of €47m.
According to Italian daily La Stampa (via Tutto Mercato), Juventus are keeping close tabs on the negotiations between the two cubs.
It was thought that the Juventus backed out of the race due to Bologna’s financial demands.
However, the Serie A giants are still interested in Calafiori and the club are still in the race for the centre-back.
Juventus are ready to step in if Arsenal continue to struggle to negotiate a deal with Bologna this summer.
