Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Juventus would be interested in Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe in the even that Matthijs De Ligt should leave the club this summer.

The Dutchman, who moved to the Bianconeri from Ajax in 2019, could be set for a transfer as Chelsea look on, but the club also want to extend his contract.

During a press conference while on international duty this month, Kimpembe had indicated that he would be looking to meet with the new upper management at PSG so as to have clarification on the club’s new project, with Luis Campos arriving as the sporting advisor to president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Chistophe Galtier replacing Mauricio Pochettino as manager.

The 26-year-old has been with PSG, his formative club, for his entire career so far, making 220 appearances. This year, the World Cup winner played in 30 league games as the club won back the Ligue 1 title.

Despite Kimpembe, ambiguous comments, Di Marzio indicates that the French international is in fact set to leave the club. Milan Škriniar’s upcoming arrival, along with Sergio Ramos’ return to fitness, could also prove to be a factor in his decision.
