Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has confirmed that the club are in talks with Paulo Dybala over a new contract.
Dybala is entering the final two years of his current deal and had come close to leaving Juve last summer, with Manchester United and Tottenham supposedly interested.
But Dybala has now forced his way back into the starting XI and is in negotiations for an extension.
“We’ve been talking to his agent for a while now, he’s a very important player for us,” Paratici told DAZN.
“We made a very big investment for him. It was a gamble by the club but one we always believed in.”
The sporting director then spoke of the ‘faith’ his club had in the Argentine.
“We even gave him our No 10 shirt. We’ve always had faith in Paulo.”
