Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli is content with the start of the season and updated on their search for a new defender while attending the Charity Gala Dinner ‘Save the Date.’ He chatted with Sky.
“Having so many teams near the top of the table is the nice thing about Serie A. It generates interest and the right pressure. We need some time and had too many injuries, but we’re right there thanks to the coach and the lads. Let’s try not to stop dreaming. We’re very happy with Thiago Motta and the effort and dedication of the players. We started basically anew, changing our way of thinking, and are one of the youngest teams in the league. The hard work could take us to the top, but we have to take it week after week.”
Giuntoli addressed the January window.
“We’re looking around right now, and we’re aware that this session is very particular. Things can change quickly. We’re waiting and assessing some situations. There’s not a frontrunner at this stage. It’s premature. It must somebody who’s willing and ready to challenge himself to be part of an important team like Juventus.”
Giuntoli is delighted for Manuel Locatelli and Nicolò Savona’s call-ups.

We’re happy and proud of the fullback, who’s the crown jewel of the team and those who raised him. He’s an old-fashioned guy because he has technical, physical, and moral skills. We thank the whole club and him, as he’s self-made. He’s down-to-talk and will go places.”
