Paris Saint-Germain are looking to boost its defense in the upcoming summer transfer window. Lately, reports have connected them with several players, including Murillo from Nottingham Forest.

The Telegraph recently reported that Chelsea is keen on landing Murillo. He is a target for new Blues head coach Enzo Maresca, but the Forest hierarchy values him at around £70 million.

However, the Blues and PSG face more competition for the Brazilian defender, who impressed greatly and played a crucial role in ensuring Nottingham Forest avoided relegation from the Premier League.

Regarding the latest club in the mix for Murillo, Juventus have inquired about the deal’s conditions for the defender. Nottingham Forest have been approached to discuss a Brazilian central defender sought after by several top clubs.

Romano, however, notes that it’s expensive and challenging, mainly since Forest has already sold Moussa Niakhaté to Lyon.

Murillo was signed from Corinthians for an initial £11.2 million last summer before being named as Forest’s player of the year after an impressive debut season in the Premier League.
