Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostić (29) is closing on a move to Juventus, as reported by Sky Germany. The Bundesliga side are ready to accept an offer of around €17m-€18m including bonuses.
Kostić has long had a verbal agreement with Juventus, agreeing a three-year deal with the Italian side in June. But Juve were unable to reach an agreement with SGE for Kostić, who entered the final year of his contract – Eintracht initially wanted a fee of around €20m.
Eintracht have since confirmed that Kostić won’t be available for their UEFA Super Cup game against Real Madrid on Wednesday, as he looks to finalise his transfer to Juventus.
said sporting director Markus Krösche. “We’ve always said that we wouldn’t put any obstacles in his way if we had an offer that was good for all sides.”
During his time at SGE, Kostić has scored 33 and created 64 across 171 games in all competitions. Last season, the Serbia international created 17 and scored four in 30 Bundesliga games, his best return so far.
