Juventus continue to explore Conceicao option while waiting for Nico Gonzalez | OneFootball

Juventus remain interested in striking a deal with Porto for 21-year-old winger Francisco Conceicao while waiting for an update in talks with Fiorentina for Nico Gonzalez, according to the latest updates.

Bianconeri delegates are set to meet with representatives from Fiorentina on Friday to discuss a move for Nico Gonzalez. La Viola are seeking a fee around the €40m mark, while Juventus are reportedly prepared to offer €32m plus several million in add-ons.

However, the Old Lady are still interested in seeking a deal with Porto for Conceicao. Juve’s intention has been to add two new wingers to the squad this summer, but with negotiations also ongoing for Teun Koopmeiners, that is only likely to happen if one of them becomes available on an initial loan deal.

For that reason, Juventus are only interested in Conceicao if they are able to sign him on some sort of loan deal, likely with an option to buy at a later date.

Where Juventus stand in Porto talks for Conceicao

According to updates from Gianluca Di Marzio, there is not yet an agreement in place between Juventus and Porto, but discussions, involving agent Jorge Mendes, are ongoing.

Portuguese outlet Record adds that Conceicao could potentially be left out of Vitor Bruno’s Porto squad for Saturday evening’s fixture against Rio Ave while the transfer talks continue.
