Juventus contact Lille’s Jonathan David to discuss a possible transfer | OneFootball

Serie A giants Juventus are making concrete moves to sign Lille forward Jonathan David.

According to a report by Daniele Longo, Juventus have contacted Jonathan David’s agents to understand the player’s salary and commission requirements if they proceed to sign him this winter or next summer. The exchange between both parties is considered to be pleasant as the Canadian striker showed interest in the Bianconeri.

David has said no to Lille’s contract renewal talks and publicly indicated that he wants to move away from the Ligue 1 soon. The 24-year-old’s contract expires next summer and clubs would start circling in the January transfer window.

Juventus are set to face competition from Arsenal, Barcelona and Inter in the race to land the prolific striker. However, with the right plan, the Old Lady could prevail as they are in search of someone who can partner and form a lethal attacking duo with Dusan Vlahovic.
