Juventus are considering an ambitious move to sign Mohamed Salah from Liverpool, with the Italians also interested in a number of Premier League names.

Juventus are keen to relaunch their project after losing their grip on Italian football, the Bianconeri currently fourth in Serie A after surrendering a nine-year stranglehold on the Scudetto to Inter Milan last season.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side also suffered a disappointing Champions League exit to Villarreal last week and Juventus have now failed to progress beyond the last 16 in three consecutive campaigns.

Gazetta dello Sport are reporting that Juventus are now considering an ambitious move to sign Salah as the club look to challenge at home and in Europe once again, with the Egyptian’s future at Liverpool uncertain as he approaches the final season of his contract this summer.

Both Salah and Liverpool have expressed a desire to agree terms on a new deal for the 29-year-old, but an agreement has yet to be reached for a forward who has scored 28 goals in all competitions this season.

Liverpool run the risk of losing Salah on a free transfer in 2023 should a new contract not be agreed and Juventus are reportedly hoping to capitalise on the situation and secure a deal.

The report says that Juventus are also interested in signing Jorginho, Antonio Rudiger and Paul Pogba. Jorginho’s agent, Joao Santos, recently revealed that the Chelsea midfielder would like to return to Italy one day and he has been linked regularly with Juventus in recent windows.

Rudiger and Pogba are both out of contract this summer and among the most high-profile free agents in Europe, with the latter have previously spent four seasons at Juventus between 2012 and 2016, winning four consecutive league titles.

Both are expected to leave their current clubs on free transfers at the end of the season and Juventus are among the elite European sides looking to secure deals for the duo.

It was this week announced that Paulo Dybala will leave Juventus this summer after the two parties failed to agree terms on a new deal for the Argentina international.
