Juventus are asking themselves questions over the future of Timothy Weah, as the USMNT star could be sold just one year after arriving from Lille.

The winger was the most expensive signing of the season for the Turin giants at €11m plus bonuses.

He has struggled to make much of an impact, contributing one goal and one assist in 26 appearances between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

Just turning 24, the son of former Milan legend George Weah has dropped down the pecking order, making only nine starts, one in the last 10 Serie A rounds.

According to Tuttosport, Juve directors are already thinking about a potential sale in the summer if he does not turn things around quickly.

Weah’s form for the USMNT is very different to at club level, which in turn suggests that he is struggling with Max Allegri’s 3-5-2 formation.

This could mean that Juventus might wait and see what system their next coach uses, should Allegri part company with him at the end of the season.
