Juventus coach Pirlo eager for Nesta reunion

Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo is eager to bring in Alessandro Nesta as an assistant.

Pirlo and Nesta shared glory days together during their time at AC Milan and also with the national team, and now Pirlo is seeking to call upon his old friend once again.

Corriere dello Sport says Nesta is currently manager of Serie B outfit Frosinone, but is open to a move after enduring a painful defeat in the play-off final against Spezia.

It is reported that Pirlo already personally put a phone call in to Nesta recently, prior to the end of the season, in order to sell him the project he has in mind for Juventus going forward.

Nesta, however, was unable to give full consideration with his mind occupied by the Serie B play-off final. Now that has been determined, it is expected that a decision will be made.
